April 2006 — Parsytec AG recently received orders for a surface inspection system to be installed at Severstal and OMK.

The orders comprise the delivery of surface inspection systems for a Severstal pickling line and for a hot mill at the Vyksa Steel Works of OMK. The latter order was received via Danieli.

Industry experts expect the Russian steel market to belong to the world wide’s fastest growing markets for the upcoming years. Parsytec’s Sales Director Michael Trunkhardt comments: "Obviously, Russia is one of the 'hot spots' for the upcoming years. We are happy that we now made a successful entry into this dynamic market by winning two large Russian corporations as new customers. Again it has shown that our by far largest installed base is a powerful asset if it comes to demonstrating our capability to deliver high and rapid value to new customers."
