Posco Completes Construction of Stainless Cold Mill in Vietnam
Mar. 13, 2012 - Posco recently completed the construction of an annual 150,000-tonne scale stainless cold-rolled factory within the Nhon Trach Industrial Complex located near Ho Chi Minh. Posco plans to install an additional rolling machine by 2015 to increase annual production to 285,000 tonnes.

Tenova I2S to Supply New 20 High Reversing Cold Rolling Mill for Posco AST
Feb. 29, 2012 - Tenova I2S has signed a contract with Posco AST to supply a new ZR22STG-52-inch precision 20-High Cluster Mill at the company’s site at Ansan, Korea. The company plans to produce 30,000 tonnes of stainless and bright annealed steel per year at this new facility.

Feb. 23, 2012 - Tenova I2S has been contracted by GuangHan TianCheng Stainless Steel to supply a new ZR22BE-52” precision 20-High Cluster Mill at the company’s Sichuan, China, site.

Jan. 19, 2012 - Novelis Korea Ltd. has placed an order with Siemens VAI Metals Technologies to equip its new aluminum cold rolling mill with automation and drive systems.

ThyssenKrupp Nirosta Plans for Expansion in Krefeld
Jan. 12, 2012 - ThyssenKrupp Nirosta has submitted a permit application for the relocation of the Düsseldorf-Benrath cold-rolling mill to Krefeld. The company expects to obtain the permit by summer 2012.
