Commercial Metals Reports 3rd Quarter Loss
Jun. 23, 2010 - Commercial Metals Co. reported a net loss of $8.8 million, or $0.08 per diluted share, on net sales of $1.8 billion for the quarter ended May 31, 2010. This compares with a net loss of $13.1 million, or $0.12 per diluted share, on net sales of $1.3 billion for the same period last year.

Commercial Metals Announces Two Executive Appointments
Apr. 21, 2010 - Commercial Metals Co. has appointed Joseph Alvarado as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of CMC, and Tracy L. Porter as Vice President of CMC and President of the CMC Americas Division. Alvarado begins his new role on April 30; Porter's new role is effective April 19.

CMC Reports Second Quarter Loss
Mar. 25, 2010 - Commercial Metals Co. reported a net loss of $173.3 million on net sales of $1.32 billion for the second quarter and a net loss of $204.5 million on net sales of $2.72 billion for the six months ended February 28, 2010.
