TISCO Orders China's First X-Melt CONARC with Energy Recovery System from SMS Siemag
Jan. 23, 2013 - The Chinese steel manufacturer Taiyuan Iron & Steel (TISCO) has contracted SMS Siemag for the planning and supply of an X-Melt® CONARC® furnace unit with energy recovery system for a new long product mill in Taiyuan, North China.
Fives DMS Achieves New Cold Rolling Mill Speed Record at TISCO
Jan. 7, 2013 - This summer, Fives DMS commissioned a cold rolling mill for TISCO at its plant in Taiyuan, China, that was able to achieve a maximum speed of 1,200 meters per minute for cold rolling stainless steel. This pulverizes the previous world record, which stood at 1,000 m/min.
