Henan Province-based Chinese pipe producer Henan Huifeng Pipe Co. announced it has started trial production on its new 340 mm diameter seamless pipe production line, which has a designed annual capacity of 200,000 tonnes. The line is part of the company's third phase of its seamless pipe production project.

Henan Huifeng Pipe began investing in its seamless pipe project in 2008. In March 2011, it began the RMB 600 million ($94.6 million) second phase of the project, building a 273 mm diameter seamless pipe production line with an annual output of 200,000 tonnes. With the completion of the total project, the seamless pipe capacity of Henan Huifeng Pipe is 600,000 tonnes annually, with an estimated output value of RMB 3 billion ($473 million).
